Clan MacCallum-Malcolm derives their name from the Gaelic Mac Ghille
Chaluim, meaning devotee of St. Columba of Iona. MacCallum-Malcolm is
considered an ancient clan, establishing families, before the Campbells’
arrival, in the historic Dalraida region, not far from Dunadd, the
coronation seat of the early Scottish kings. The current chief is Robin
Neill Lochnell Malcolm, D.L., and his seat is at the 11th century Castle
Duntrune, overlooking the Jura Sound and Lake Crinan.
